Island Adventures In Bermuda

Being surrounded by beautiful water, Bermuda is home to just about every water sport you can imagine.

Pleasure crafts are available for rentals as are fishing boats rigged to catch the game fish that populate the coastline of Bermuda.

There are also sailing and motor charters to explore the island by sea; and you can explore the depth of Bermuda’s waters that are dotted with wrecks and reefs by scuba and snorkeling adventures.  There is also a unique helmet dive for the more adventurous.

For those who prefer staying dry, there are glass bottom boats and Kayak trips through areas like Paradise Lake in the middle of the great Sound.  You can also join a jet-ski tour and see the island from the wild side.

There’s plenty of windsurfing, parasailing and water skiing available around the island.

Bermuda abounds with golf courses, there being 8 in the island’s 22 square miles.  The island is said to have more golf courses per square mile than any place on earth.  The courses vary in their levels of difficulty, making it easy to find one just right for your game.

There are also mini golf courses for the young families and a golf academy for those seeking some instruction to improve their skills.

You’ll also find tennis facilities, squash courts, and even a pick-up game of croquet as options for the competitive-minded Bermuda visitor.

Bermuda offers a wide array of tours, from self-guided to taxi and Segway tours.  You can also swim with dolphins and enjoy the ever-growing popularity of bird watching.

Many of the parks offer nature tours and you can visit The Maritime Museum featuring exhibits on Bermuda history, art and war history.

The Bermuda Aquarium Museum & Zoo will delight the young and old alike with animals from around the world and under the sea.
