Nightlife in the Bahamas

• If you are interested in nightlife you should choose Nassau/Paradise Island or Grand Bahama Island.  These are the two main islands for tourists who enjoy restaurants, bars, shows, casinos and entertainment.
• Nassau has two main areas for nightlife, Cable Beach and Downtown Nassau. You will find a large selection of restaurants, bars with live entertainment.  Cable Beach features nightclubs, casinos and shows.
• Paradise Island has exciting entertainment, casinos and nightlife venues for just about everyones taste.
• Grand Bahama Island's main nightlife is located in Port Lucaya Marketplace where you will find Count Basie Square right in the middle featuring local talent from fireeaters to musicians to Junkanoo.  The marketplace has many local restaurants, bars and night spots to enjoy.
• Most hotels in Grand Bahama have entertainment, restaurants and bars and special beachside activies.
• Some of the hotels in  "Out Islands" will feature local entertainers, steel drum bands, and local dining in their bars and restaurants.
• Local fish fries and beach events are popular throughout the Bahamas.
