Nightlife in Cozumel
- The island’s 100-plus restaurants and cafes cater to every budget and taste. There is an array of ethnic fare, from Italian to French to Lebanese. You can chose from a variety of atmospheres, from casual dining along the roadside to a candelit evening overlooking the water.
- Evening entertainment in Cozumel begins and ends early compared to the rest of Mexico. Restaurants are crowded by 8 p.m. and discos close their doors by midnight.
- Live tropical music is always a stone’s throw away. Many hotel lobbies feature live performances nightly. El Caribeno at the Presidente has a live Marimba band and a trio, and the Fiesta Inn Hotel has a popular Karaoke Bar.
- Joe’s Lobster Pub affords dancing to rhythmic salsa and reggae music staged by live bands.
- The Hard Rock Cafe is a popular destination for tourists.
- Carlos and Charlie’s is also a local favorite which offers food, drink, and music in a party atmosphere.
- In the mood for an icy tropical drink? Treat yourself to one of Fat Tuesday’s many cocktails that are world renowned for their island concoctions.
- For an authentic fiesta, head over to Viva Mexico or Lounge 1.5 for traditional drink and music.
