Nightlife in Aruba

  • When the sun goes down, the city lights up. You can begin your night by choosing from dozens of restaurants offering every kind of international cuisine. The smell of the local fare permeates the air like a temptress. Enjoy the fresh local seafood or sample Aruban specialties with names like “scavechi”, “sopi di jambo” and “keshi yena”. Don’t forget to order some “dushi di tamarijn” for dessert.
  • Afterward, you can enjoy some nighttime entertainment. There are many places to go for live music and entertainment.  Another option is to hop aboard the Caribbean’s largest catamaran featuring three decks for dancing, dining, and gazing at the stars. A live band and DJ provide the perfect music for anyone ages 18 and up.
  • You can also try your luck at the world famous casinos. Their major attraction is gambling and there are many to choose from. In addition to blackjack, poker, craps, roulette, baccarat, and hundreds of slot machines, Aruba’s casinos offer Caribbean Stud Poker. And don’t be shy. The dealers are very eager to explain the games to the amateur gambler.
  • For a quieter atmosphere, you’ll find a variety of movies playing at the local Cinemas.
  • There are so many nightclubs and bars throughout the entire island.
