Legal requirements for getting married in Trinidad & Tobago

Couples will find a wide range of choices available to them when selecting the best venue for their wedding. From formal to casual and pricey to affordable, anything and everything is available.

There is a three-day residency requirement, counted from the day of arrival, to obtain a marriage license here.

A passport or driver’s license and proof of single status are required. Proof of entry and intended exit in the form of airline tickets are also required.

The license cost will be around US $55.00.
