Located 60 miles east of Puerto Rico, the British Virgin Islands include more than 40 islands, rocks and cays. Only 16 are inhabited, the largest of these being Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke.

CURRENCY – The US dollar (US$) is the official unit of currency.

DRINKING WATER – Bottled water is readily available for those who prefer it.

ELECTRICITY – The islands use 110V, 60 Hz.
